Looking at the download stats for my site, I saw that miniMIZE has been downloaded more than 1000 times. I have been completely taken aback by it's popularity. I just want to thank everyone for their compliments and feedback. It will all help to polish the final miniMIZE release.
On that note, miniMIZE development is still underway. The current non-public beta builds have the following new features:
- Hide / Show the notification icon
- Custom drawn drop shadows
- Single click restore of windows
- Ctrl-drag windows
- Default setting for window level
There are also a number of bug fixes, but I won't list them here. The plan from here is to fix the current set of bugs in this build and to complete the exclusion list before I will release another public beta. |

After a fair amount of work I decided to release a public beta of miniMIZE. The first is to get it out there so that people can see it and hopefully spread the word about it. But more importantly, I think that the more testers you have, the more likely you are to find obscure bugs (already found and fixed one) as well as getting a much fuller feature set.
Anyways, if you're interested, the release can be downloaded from here and the forums for bugs and feature requests is here. |
