miniMIZE Ideas for next version - 2008/09/13 11:30
Okay, so today I downloaded miniMIZE. I have been looking for a simple app like this for a LONG time and finally stumbled upon it! It works great and is very useful. I would like to contribute as much as I can to the project, so here's a list of Ideas I have for the next release.
1. Transparency. miniMIZE already has the option as to how transparent the windows are (which I was happy to see). I think that when you hover your mouse over a window it should go to 100%.
2. Border. A Nice border around the minimized window would make it look more clear and defined. I was thinking a sort of gloss border like you'd see in the user Icons on Windows Vista.
3. Most people might not agree with this Idea, but I think it would greatly enhance miniMIZE. when windows are minimized, they are tilted into 3D space. what i mean is, the right side of the window closer to you than the left, giving it a 3d look. They could 'stack' or slide closer to eachother so that they are over lapping. when you hover over a windows, the others will slide out of the way and the window you are selecting tilts into normal view. Sorry if that doesn't make much sens.
So there's my Ideas. Hopefully the developers of miniMIZE will take the time to read them and take them into account while they are developing the next version. I'd be willing to work for free to help them in anyway I can with anything graphics related. Thanks
